I saw one of those spoons for quilting on a website(forgot which one)for $20.00, on the handle it had a protector like the kind you put on a pencil. I went to secondhand store for .50 I got a spoon and I already have the pencil protector. Now to practice. It's not easy, but I'm working on it.
