I used to have that problem too. It would tell me I wasn't connected.
The only thing that I could do was to work off the laptop. Then, I disconnected the router and it worked. I hooked the router back up and it stayed working. No clue if it was the router or not, but it worked for me.
Maybe try clearing cache and all that to see if it will work, OR send PM to Admin.
