They said it's an easy and fun job but now I'm wondering. Where do I find all these speakers from. I put out a survey asking what members would like to see and goit alot of responses. Alot didn't like the artsie speakers. Seems we had alot of those this year and wanted more traditional type ones. Does anyone else do this and have ideas? I haven't met yet with former committee so I'm sure I'll learn the ropes. these speakers would be for the year 2012 since most get booked fast. Say some prayers I do a good job and make our group happy.
Check out some of the members on the board, ask if they do demos, ask them to PM you their rates, and you will have a starter list. Also, many quilter's who have personal sites, also do demos for groups. I hope this is helpful. I am willing to help if I can. :thumbup:
