As Katia said, I also used to work in sewing factorys. Several yrs of different ones. Those machines are that fast and as she said there are mechanics right there if needed. We were paid on production. Made good money, but had to be fast.
It might, but I do not believe the foot you are looking at would be the same. We had certain machines with the attachment to do bindings. This looks nothing like them. Good luck to those that are going to try.
However, this does look indeed like a sweat shop.
