If you don't believe me (or rather help me feel I'm not way out there) take a piece of a floral or bright fabric and see what I mean. Would the fabric, after it is washed, fade differently?

You can get really interesting effects by using both the right side and the reverse in the same quilt. If it looks good to you, that's all that counts. froggyintexas
