1. draw an 8" square on paper.
2. make your curve for the top and bottom of the fan. I might use a large plate to give me the curve I'd like for the top and a smaller one , or bowl or cup, for the bottom curve.
3. fold/divide it evenly into the number of blades you want.
4. cut a blade as template.
5. add 1/4 inch all around it as seam allowance.....
and that will be your blade size.
