G'morning quiltaholics hehe
I'm a mom of 4 and gramma of 2.5 ( the .5 is due late July)
Been hanging around for a few days and have fallen in love with the quilts
I've seen you post and really enjoy seeing a community that's so
generous and helpful to everyone who happens to show up.

Not taken any classes just picked up a pattern book my MIL had
and went from there teaching myself.
First few I made I just tied them and I'm not even sure where most of them are any more.
Made 3 then just up and quit for like 10 years lol

Then a neighbor asked me to help her finish a quilt for her grandson...
well that's all it took I was hooked again hahaha
helped her do another for her daughter and then got started on
all the ones I've done since.

I've made several quilts for Christmas presents and actually made a few
for friends of my sisters as well as a few for sis that she gave as gifts.

Tied the first couple and then I found this great lady who lives near me
who does machine quilting and had her do 4 for me that I gave as
presents.

Then I ran out of piggy bank money and decided I'd try my hand at hand quilting.

It's a learning process and my stitches aren't even or very small and I haven't done any
complicated designs yet just straight ones and in the ditch stitching but once I get happy
with my results I'll probly try something more complicated.

Oh dear I've written a book lol
Guess I'll dig up the link to my quilt pics I've got online so ya'll can see what I've done.
Cya's around the boards :)
