The Necchi is clean and sews a perfect seam. There is tiny click coming from the underside. It's still there without the needle or bobbin case, so I can rule out those two. There is a minor burr in the part that holds the bobbin case. I will try to smooth it and see what happens. That was one lint packed machine. The finish shows some wear, but that only means she was well used to me. Later when she gets waxed, that will help. Her name is Sophia. She wanted Stella, but that's not a good idea. My son's first wife was Stella - little, strong and pretty like the machine, but his second wife might not appreciate a machine with that name. Sophia it is.

She will get a workout now. I started a Jewel Box quilt. AnnieRose (301) has a quarter inch guide attached, so Sophia can make the HSTs and any other sewing that isn't 1/4".
