Get a piece of pvc that is larger in the inside diameter than the pvc that you used in the outside diameter of your frame and allow for quilt thickest. Cut several pieces six or eight inches long and then cut out a lengthwise slot where you can forced the new pipe over the quilt and grip the pvc on your frame. You need to cut a lengthwise slot just large enough to be able to forced the new pipe over the frame pvc with the quilt in place. If you cut this pvc in half, it will not grip. The cut out slot has to be smaller than half of the new pvc. You may have to play with it a little to get it where it is easy to slide over the quilt and partial over your frame pvc.
