The new procedures are waaayyy better now. One friend had hers done 20 years ago, and has had one health problem after another... BUT, a neighbor, a doctor's wife, had it a year ago and has been doing wonderful. I agree with you completely. It's not an easy decision, but thank goodness it's available.
