I'd seen where some suggested Quilters Dream so I bought some. Haven't tried it yet but I like the thinner batting because I don't want, or need, a really warm quilt. Just depends on what YOU prefer. I used the batting from Wal-Mart in a lap quilt I made for myself and it's been washed hundreds of times and still in wonderful shape. Not sure that I'd use it in a larger quilt though.
