This is the Lap size Family Pride quilt that I made at the same time as the small wall hanging. It too was finished and sandwiched about 3 years ago when my daughter was serving in Afghanistan. I had spray basted it with June Taylor spray baste. I had to respray the corners of just the back with the 505 that I now use.
The center star is a little loose, and I forgot to remove the chalk lines that I had drawn on there, sorry, I must remember to take care of that before it gets hung in our "quilt show" on Saturday

I quilted the "light" area with a free hand stars and loops stitching, I did diagonal lines in the red and outline stitched in the star.
