i tried once to scan and print a fabric i loved, ran out of, and couldn't find anywhere. the results were not good.

i designed and printed my own instead. there's really no secret to it. all you need is the right software. anything that you can plunk some clipart into and play around. i use Bubble Jet Set and print on 200-count white muslin. i want to try printing on kona cotton, too, but haven't gotten around to it.

i know it's hard to let go when you have your heart set on a specific fabric for a quilt and can't find more. still ... i also encourage you to look for something else for your additional centers. whether it's something similar, or something that's completely different but complimentary, i'll betcha dimes to donuts you'll be surprised by how much you love the results.
