Miz Johnny answered and asked if my crank is original or repro. Of course, I have no earthly idea, as this is my first vintage machine! So here's a picture of the crank. If anyone has a suggestion about the problem of the screw coming loose, I'd appreciate any input.
It's hard to tell from the picture, but I'm betting it's a repro, and am thinking perhaps the screw isn't quite long enough or isn't the right thread. The screw holding the motor mount on isn't long enough for a hand crank; the HC needs a slightly longer one. I don't know where to get one, but am betting Billy does.
