I love it, use it all the time. I can take any pic and enlarge it. I do it a lot with coloring book pages that I use for applique. I just put it on the table and aim it at the wall, adjust size by moving it closer or further away, tape paper on wall and trace the lines.

Mine was a gift; came from a catalog, and I've seen them since in those miscellaneous-stuff catalogs like Walter Drake and such. Low-tech, but low price too. Or enlarge pattern on a photo copier if you don't need to do often, though you'd probably have to do it in pieces.
