For 'functional' quilts, my style is contemporary with primarily optical illusions or dimensional designs (like my avatar). For art quilts, I go with non-representational abstracts, most often using geometrics. I don't use patterns, don't like scrappy, and have no need for speed. For me, the joy is in the process.
