Traditional combined with applique. Love civil war era (currently working on civil war tribute quilt and the patriots in petticoats. Love sampler quilts too. Let's me combine all sorts of different blocks. I also like "controlled scrappy" I guess you would call it. Love lots of different fabrics in a quilt but has to be in some sort of controlled design. But my absolute favorite is applique.
