I have seen many posts here from people who have just acquired a new Featherweight but I have never really taken much interest in these machines so I know nothing of why they are so prized. Recently, a very dear friend who is terminally ill, passed hers along to me. I will value it simply because it was hers but would like to know more about them. Can anyone suggest a source? The machine has its original instruction book and dates from 1947. It runs very well, has all feet and attachments listed in the book. I will have it cleaned and oiled but it required very little in the way of clean up. Thanks for any help you can give me.
