I live in a house that is close to 120 years old, and I "could" steal your idea and move my sewing space if everyone else agreed. I feel left out of things in the evenings if I go upstairs to sew and my husband and son are home. I try to keep hand sewn projects in the tv room to work on in evenings. oh gosh, please post some pics of your house, i absolutely love old houses. and we don't have any houses that old around here where i live.
