I think there are several different colors of the older featherweight ... some people have repainted them like purple, one red one I saw, and a pink one for breast cancer and a polkadot one was on ebay not too long bac ........
Now they have another Featherweight that is computerized and its a really neat machine. With all of the car companies bringing back the muscle car movement with the Challengers, Chargers, Shelbys, and the GT 40 it only right that they do the same with the sewing machine. And I think that they got it right this time and the quality is there like the originals had. Heck its like a 3/4 sized 500A with out the hassle of the cams and it is user friendly especially for the disabled.
I think that Singer is trying to make a good comeback and not fade away.
