I like the low extension table. Lays almost flat on the table unlike other extension tables on other brand machines that have about 4-6 inches high.
Thanks so much for telling us about your new machine. I have an old FW which I LOVE, but sometimes I need something other than a straight stitch. I will look into the new FW for a machine to take to classes. Like you, I can no longer lug my 30 pound machine back and forth to classes.
