I live in Hinesville, home to Fort Stewart and the 3d Infantry Division ... (Hooah!!! LOL)

We're about 45 miles south of Savannah.

I've been using a sewing machine and doing a variety of needlecrafts since I was five years old. Didn't make my first quilt until about 5 years ago, though. It's the only one I've kept so far. I like to try new techniques on lap/crib sized quilts then give them away. A few as gifts; the rest to different charities. I learn something new and somebody else gets something new. A win-win if ever I heard of one. :-)

I know I've done a good job when it takes me a while to let go and give it away. For the most part, though, the end products impress my friends much more than they do me. I keep comparing mine to so may others I've seen. Big mistake!!! LOL

I always forget to take pictures, though. I can't even remember how many I've made so far. (And shudder when I realize how many I have in various stages of "not done yet". )
