We just bake it as you would a roast. I fill the pan with water about half way and bake at 350 degrees for 3 to 5 hrs depending on the size. I just treat it like a roast.

I like to use 2 cans of mushroom soup and 1 jar of premade beef gravy in my roasts and a jar of water and then I add onions potatoes and carrots. You can do that with the heart also.

You can slice it and fry it like you would liver.

We do it because it is delicous!!
