When I read the thread title, I thought "ooh, how do you do a quilt for a bright child?" Here in Ireland, bright means clever, I'm not sure if it's the same Stateside?
Anyway, the quilt is gorgeous, I love the BRIGHT colours :)
ETA Whoops, Harmony, I should have read the thread to the end. It seems bright has a universal meaning:)
