Wow, I have only been gone for about 3 hours and this shop jumped at least five pages.

Welllllll... I got it, another machine, a Singer 401.

My bad. Now I have over 20 machines. The 401 is sitting in my car! I bought it for $75 and it had the manual!!!!!! Surprise, surprise.

I had lifted up the machine to take a look inside under the machine; the lady was standing to the side and caught a glimpse of a book. Turns out that when you lift the left extension leaf into the upright position and reach down and pull the side of the cabinet; that the door opens and there is a tray inside. It was holding the original manual; bobbins and some miscellaneous stuff. It only has four cams but that really is enough for me right now.

I will post photos later after I clean her up a bit. All of the levers and such move freely and she hums right along. Cool! It came in the original Cosmopolitan Walnut finish, style 88 console.

It is earmarked for my 5 year old grandson when he grows up a little more. And it will be named Taylor. He loves sewing on my machines right now. Sew, it is here for him to sew on at Grandma's. Can't wait til they can travel over for a weekend. Fun! :-D PS: I will just make sure it works reallllllly well til he grows up!
