Well, right now it's not too difficult. Most are in various stages of dis-repair and need something or other done to them, or maybe needing a pedal (2 need pedals). My Brother is my best right now, and it only cost me $5 at a garage sale, it needed a pedal which I found at a repair shop for FREE (he wouldn't charge me for it since he had to splice it. Perfectly safe, but he didn't feel he should charge me. So, I bought some bobbins to thank him. lol) And the serger works great, it was $35 at a garage sale. I use the Kenmore as backup right now if needed....
