I believe it needs a motor and a bobbin plate, perhaps more. But, I had wanted one for so long and for $20 I couldn't resist. It had a cabinet, a cheap one thank goodness, cause it wouldn't fit in the car and had to be left behind. :( lol and no, not looking to ship....
