Thursday morning I began a quilt for my first great granchild's baby shower on Saturday, that's right it's tomorrow. Pattern I chose was a simple one but everything was going wrong, many seams weren't meeting and when they did meet some of the corners were too small. To top it off every time I put my hand, elbow or arm down a piece of fabric stuck to them, even with the AC on it was sticky in the house. Finally gave up and made a simple squares design and finished the quilt this morning. Used blue, yellow and white fabrics as we won't know the sex of the baby until it's born, thought the color combo was unisex.

Finally finished the queen size quilt I was making. Boy was it heavy when I gave the top and backing their final pressing. Glad to say it is at the quilters now and it's a big load off my mind. I was so tired of handling the quilt that I didn't take a photo before I left it with the quilter, will take one when I get it back. May
