Hi and Welcome from AZ. I would wash it with a couple of color catchers. You can find them in the laundry detergent isles in most grocery stores. Go ahead and quilt it, throw it in the wash and all will be fine. Can't wait to see your beautiful quilt. :-D :-D :-D
