I'm sort of the same way, right now. I can appreciate a contemporary quilt with all of the bells and whistles; but right now, I prefer quilts that are 'utility' quilts.....Something that I can throw over myself while in bed or on the couch. I also like quilts that can be thrown in the washing machine.
