It does hold. Don't be overly heavy with the application and if you are using a polyester batting, then spray the material rather than the batting, as the sprat melts the polyester a bit. Spray outdoors in well ventilated site. It is very easy to spray baste against a wall by pinning the backing,spray backing,apply batting and pin if extra support is needed,spray batting and smooth the top over it. I sometimes add extra tacking stitches if it is a particularly large quilt.
