I always have lots going many UFO's because I love trying out new block patterns when I see them. I keep them hanging on the design wall untill I decide I'm ready to do somthing with them. I have one design wall in my bedroom for this purpose, and one hanging in my living room where I do my quilting, that is my currently "active quilt". Right now it's bare - just made my quilt sandwich. Will be adding a D9P to the wall bevor the end of the day.
