I think you have some beautiful treasures and heirlooms.
Hmmmm... now about the not matching the decor, I've said that about a quilt I made myself. I say made. I pieced it and have a top, but I have a hard time wanting to finish it because it was for a room in a house that no longer exists. We moved and then the house was torn down to build new on that lot.
So, I guess I kinda understand, but don't. I have quilts both my grandmas made and don't care that they are different than my decor.
At least someone in the family does appreciate them. Enjoy!
