I like multiple projects. That way I work what I'm in the mood for. When I get close to finishing a top, I tend to focus on it completely til I get done and put the others aside. But I can't stand to work exclusively on only one--usually it's too boring to handle. I like variety.
I think the sampler quilt is a great idea.
