I would LOVE to find a copycat recipe for Harry and Davids fruitcake confection. I've made at least 7 recipes Ive found online, they are okay and some are great on their own, but not the confection recipe.
No one can not like this cake. Almost no batter, just enough to hold itself together. Then just pecans, whole sugar soaked fresh cherries and pineapple for the fruit/nut ingredients. Not even liquer, but it tastes like maybe rum extract cus it has a soaked flavor. Unbelievablely easy to eat ...and eat and eat.
