Activated Carbon will do what you need done.
You get it in the pet department or pet store, it is used for fish aquariums. It is black crystals. Just put some of the crystals in an open top container and set the container into something airtight containing the fabric. (A large gargage bag would be fine until you can do better.) The crystals will draw the smell out.
