It says Reliable Sewing Stores on the front, has gold emblem (like Singers) on the front that say Los Angeles across the top, Made in Japan on the bottom, and DELUXE 1952 in the middle. Can you post a picture of the machine? It sounds like a Japanese clone, but would have to see a picture. Unless it is something extremely rare, which I doubt since it was made in Japan, it is not worth a lot of money. But, the machine is probably a great machine to sew on!
