It looks like this fabric (thanks for the ruler on the side) is absolutely the right size for a field of 50 stars in them. I've been searching and I missed it. 1/4 yd would go a long way in making them and/or their families very happy.

I passed the message on to the person who bought the fabric and she replied:

Please cut the 1/4 yard and pass it on to her for me. I'll pay the full price but she is welcome to the 1/4 yard.
