I'm with you. I've tried several times to work with thangles but never seem to get it just right. So, I figured my best bet was to learn HST the normal way and I'm just more accurate. I, too, did a BOM at the LQS and hated every minute of it. Besides, I think it took me longer using the paper product than learning it the regular way.
