I quilt my own. I prefer hand quilting, but have done a little (very little) on my sewing machine. I have a mid-arm quilter that I am just beginning to learn. It's a vintage machine with a huge frame that would only fit it my attic - it's pretty hot up there right now, so I won't get much practice until DH installs the air conditioner.
