And this is precisely the reason I'm currently working on a D9P with 7" squares (bigger would have been great, but 7" was the most efficient use of the yardage I had). One of my fabrics has a goooorgeous large-scale birds-and-flowers print and I really wanted to highlight that.

If it's a smaller print, I'd probably whack 'em down into quarters. Smaller prints kind of lose their punch in large, unbroken spaces.
