The machine was an LG top of the line and we did buy the same one. All of the sales people had never heard of it happening before. I think we just got a lemon. The company is been very cooperative. My DH was just washing sheets and the bed skirt.

It could be one of the mounts broke or the balance sensor blew, just a fluke. Just like a lot of things these days, there is a lot of plastic in the guts.

It is very low water use. We bought a top loader because they can't hold as much (we have a king size bed) and they don't agitate as well
