So sorry to hear that you have been laid off from work. Keep your chin up & think positive - something may well turn up unexpectantly, you know how when your not looking sometimes that door of opportunity appears.
Keeping you in my thoughts. My job also looks very bleak. I am currently looking for alternative work too.
