This fabulous pencil from Derwent combines the brilliant intensity of pen and ink with the versatility of line and wash. Inspired by the traditional painting styles of the East, Derwent Inktense can be used dry for rich, intense colour or washed out with a little water to create a vivid translucent effect. Once dry, the colour is permanent and can be worked over with other media. The information in this brochure was published when the first 24 colours for this range were launched. Since then the range has been extended to 72 colours.
