Do you mean eye-lashes on the curves? Or loops of top thread on the straight stitches?

Eye-lashes can be caused by two problems - tension and or machine/hand speed. The biggest culprit is that your hand speed is too fast on the curves.

If the problem isn't showing up on curved areas then I suspect your top tension is too loose.

How big is the section that needs to be removed?
