Well, I SHOULD be spending more time outside working in the yard, BUT........nah!!!! When it's really hot, the air conditioning is turned on so it isn't uncomfortable to quilt. I do like to take hand embroidery or applique outside and sit on the patio working on it while the kitties are out exploring. They are indoor kitties and aren't allowed outside unless someone is watching them. ;) If it's hot, I'll sit in the shade, but I don't crochet anything that is large enough -- for example an afghan -- that would lay on my lap to make me even hotter. I work on those in the air conditioned indoors or in the cooler months of the year. I make purses using yarn and pull tabs so they are a size that doesn't add more heat when I'm crocheting them. :-D
