I am making this Hunter's Star quilt for a graduation present for my nephew in Virginia. His high school colors are orange and blue. I have always loved this pattern but had never tried it before. I wanted something that I could do fairly quickly so I decided to make mine using a 12 inch block so that the "star" block would actually be 24". I always felt that the Hunters Star pattern would be a real stretch for my humble skills but you've made it look doable in a great-looking quilt. I noticed that you've made others as well with this pattern and ALL are stunning!
