I use the ceiling fan even with the windows open to keep air moving.
OKAY... ceiling fans usually have a directional switch... clockwize in summer to direct air flow directly downwards; and counter-clockwize in winter so the air goes outwards and bounces off the walls to re-circulate (ie: the heat). Perhaps switching to "winter" might help???
and as a reminder, you can mark the switch on the fan (with tape or pen, pencil, etc.) W for Winter and S for Summer... (or O for Outwards and D for Down ...or whatever...
