I'm trying to reduce my stash and stay away from fabric. I would like to eventually get to where I have little or no stash. Its hard to do. My success rate is not so good. Purchased 4 fat quarter bundles a couple of weeks ago, and bought scraps from a board member. I've started by using the fabrics that were bought as a set from the same line. I found a pattern I would like to make with them and folded it in with the fabric. When time permits I grab the one on top and start cutting. I'm allowing myself to buy only backings if needed, but for the most part I'll make scrappy backs. I too have fabrics that I just hate to cut. NO MORE! Its gotta go, they wont find me on the Hoarders show.
