(Plaids & solids for overalls, etc. - she had great taste in clothes, so it was very nice fabric) I learned to piece and maneuver pieces while sewing like that. Very green! It helped our budget!
That is wonderful! I'd really love to improve my skills so that I can do things like that! I'd also love to be able to do more alterations than hemming for myself!
